My name is Polly and for some reason, I have a tendency of embarassing myself... quite a lot.
There is this guy at school who is so dreamy, and you’d think that after all the public accidents I put myself through on a daily basis he’d at least know my name - but if so, then you’d be wrong.
I have been crushing hard on Luke Hemmings for seven years, but how am I supposed to make one of the most popular guys in school, also lead vocalist of five seconds of summer, notice my existence?
Only red jell-o, unexpected performances and texting drabbles will tell.
Oh, and time, definitely time. "Hes so out of reach, and its getting me down cause he makes me think that I'm trying too hard cause im not being me, and its getting me down that he makes me feel like im trying too hard again"

Lydia Parker was in a situation that a lot of girls would love to be. The slightly dysfunctional flirtationship she'd managed to develop with Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood had been going on for quite a few weeks and so far, neither of them seemed to have a problem with it. It was all in good fun, after all. That is, until, they give her an ultimatum. They both have feelings for her and they can't carry on the way they are. They'd both done a fantastic job at hiding these so-called feelings, and an even better job at acting like it wasn't effecting their friendship. But it was - a simple phone call to Ashton was enough to confirm that. Lydia felt sick, but she had no other option. She was going to have to choose between the two boys who meant the most to her in the whole world. And she had no idea what her decision was going to be. Babylon, North Carolina looks perfect from the outside. A picturesque small town where one could go to clear their mind and have the most delicious homemade apple pie around while seated on the beach, washing all their troubles away.
Michael Clifford, however, knew too well what kind of secrets the town held. As the son of the local police chief, he grew up being told the stories that somehow were never released as public knowledge. He knew all the truths that had never seen the light of day. All of the stories except the one that he truly wanted to know — the truth behind the ‘great accident’ that took several lives, his father’s included.
Just when he was sure that he had gotten out of the town and away from the secrets indefinitely, living a good, quiet life in upstate New York with his mother and younger sister, he finds himself buying a one-way ticket back to his hometown to escape the consequences of one too many mistakes. Babylon might not have been as perfect as the townspeople would have liked the rest of the world to think, but it was still a safe place to hide.
Taking refuge in a friend’s basement, Michael was determined to turn things around for himself. But being back in Babylon came with its own set of consequences: the need to find out the truth behind his father’s death becomes more prominent than ever, having to pay his own bills by working for his former neighbor’s jerk of a son, fending off questions from nosy townspeople, the unbearable heat that he’d all but forgotten about, and somehow catching the attention of the Mayor’s much too intelligent daughter, Johanna Goode, for something as stupid as knocking over a couple of items in the grocery store. Michael is almost convinced that he’d be better off facing the consequences of his actions back in New York.
None of those things seem to matter as soon as he comes across the darkest secret the town has to hold, consequently putting both himself and Johanna in harm’s way as witnesses to cold-blooded murder. The only thing keeping them alive is the knowledge that if they show that they know anything at all, their lives could be on the line.
And well, Michael had never been a very good actor.

If there was one thing Calum Hood loved more than music, it was dogs. And, now that his music career was on hold ( indefinitely - thanks, Luke), it was the perfect time to get one. Or it would be, if his live-in girlfriend wasn't allergic and refused to be anywhere near one. Calum had (begrudgingly) accepted his fate and had given up hope of ever finding a dog to call his own. That is, until a slightly neurotic Great Dane comes – literally – crashing into his life and brings his unwitting owner along for the ride. banner by seeingredDate updated: 18 September 2014 Chapter updated: one. Calum Hood’s got a lot on his plate and the china’s about to crack (and, no, this is not the appropriate time for Asian jokes, damn it!).
His sister’s daily, midnight phone calls about her failing romance have torn his sleeping schedule to shreds. His best mates’ self-destructive tendencies have got him jumping through hoops keeping the damage to a minimum. His management’s perpetual pestering is driving him up the wall and his girlfriend’s subtle snarky comments aren’t helping their own crumbling relationship. His mother won’t get off his case about proposing, his father is constantly snapping his tongue in disapproval, his new neighbor’s cat just keeps finding it’s way into his dirty laundry... The list grows longer and longer every waking moment and the ringing echoes of his name calling him to attention have got him paranoid at all hours.
Life is shattering to pieces in his palms and Calum can’t even feel the pain or see the blood because he’s too damn distracted.
Or where Cal thinks he’s a super hero, but maybe he’s the one who needs saving.

Cool Kids
The truth of the matter is that Ashton Irwin doesn't need to be in this band.
(Except maybe he does. And maybe it's Luke, Michael, and Calum's job to show him that.)

There was Luke, the new boy on campus who has no idea what he wants to do with his life, is a little too lanky and awkward, and has such a naïve and loving heart that you would think he climbed straight out of a John Green book.
And there was Norah, who dyed her hair blue when she was drunk, has only male friends, and such an intense passion for reading and writing that it's no wonder why she works in the University library.
Somehow, through endless nights of staying up late, awkward encounters at parties, a worrying amount of singing to project their feelings, their love for reading and Norah's meddling best friends, they fall in love. But of course, just like everything is when you're young and in love, it's never as easy as it is in the movies...or in this case, a musical.

It was a rainy day in November when Luke walked into Sadie’s aunt’s psychic shop. He was sopping wet and desperately seeking the kind of answers only someone with Theabella’s gifts could give him. But what Luke didn’t know, was that Theabella was not really a clairvoyant, but rather an ex bellydancer named Rachel from Staten Island. It was her niece, Sadie, who had the gift.
Clairalience is what it’s called; the ability to access psychic knowledge of someone through sense of smell. It was silly, honestly. A whiff of someone’s cheap perfume would stir up images in her mind of the cobb salad they had for lunch or the new pair of shoes they bought the previous day. The night Luke Hemmings walked into her aunt’s shop, Sadie had no idea what the depths of her power could be.
Until he brought it out of her.
When they discover their meeting was not so much by chance as it was fate, and their timelines crossed in more ways than one, they set off on a journey that will bring them to the brink of Hell itself.
“Everyone is always so concerned about how Alice got into Wonderland, but they never care to know where the rabbit was going.”

With the spare room now free of drums and guitars and boxes full of things they didn’t really need, the room was free to rent. And what was the point in wasting a decent sized room when someone could be paying to live there; helping with money. The 4 boys agreed on posting an ad paper in hopes someone would be insane enough to move in.
It turns out the ad missed only one minor detail. And when the only replicant turned up to flat 12A, they realised they should've mentioned that one small factor.
Because Ellis wasn’t a he, he was a she.
And how would 1 girl living with 4 guys possibly be straight forward?

Never underestimate your enemies.
That’s what Peter Pan learned when he thought the war between Neverland and Wonderland had ended. He wanted to blame the long war for many things — the fact that he’d needed to grow up a bit to fight in the war, that he’d had to send his Lost Boys away for safety, for being alone, and most of all, for aging — but he could only blame himself for the deaths of some of his most faithful Lost Boys after deeming it safe for them to return home. That one was all on him.
He was, however, going to blame Wendy Darling for allowing most of his Lost Boys to forget about not only Neverland, but him while he was fighting for the safety of their home. Even if it hadn’t been her who had said she’d watch over the Lost Boys, she had convinced him to send them to earth in the first place. And it wasn’t as if she’d put up a fight to stop Tinkerbell from tampering with other kinds of magic and becoming human, either.
Unfortunately, he had even bigger problems than his fairy friend giving into darkness and his human friend wanting him to stay on earth for good.
Neverland was locked, officially taken over by Wonderland. He started aging even more than before and had to take up the alias Ashton Irwin to avoid the Wonderlanders who were out for his head. His remaining Lost Boys wanted nothing to do with him because they’d either forgotten or were happy with how their lives on earth had turned out. Then there was Wendy herself, who was one big complication that he didn’t know how to deal with or how to feel about.
But he wasn’t going to allow any of that to stop him from finding a way home.
A story of tall tales, a few too many curses, one boy who never wanted to grow up but might just need to anyway, the ways of warring worlds, and adventure, of course.

Luke Hemmings had it all. He was (almost) 18 years old, relatively popular, he had good grades, good friends and the seemingly perfect family. For him, life couldn’t get any better. He was about to find out it could get a hell of a lot worse, though, when he discovers his father has a secret (almost) 19 year old son who had to come and live with them. Luke didn’t want him there – this was his life, his family, his friends. He didn’t want, nor need, some screwed up illegitimate child coming in and fucking everything up, but he wasn’t left with a choice. He knew Ashton Irwin was going to come in and ruin his life, and there was no way in hell that Luke was going to let that happen. AU in which Luke is a spoilt rich boy and Ashton is his quiet, brooding older half-brother who he didn’t know existed. banner by aimee Updated: September 25th 2014 Chapter updated: five. Link: x
