renting out a new converted warehouse to record in for a few months had seemed like a good idea
at first; but, of course, that was before the four members of five seconds of summer thought
to meet the neighbours, who just so happen to be a very chaotic assortment of girls:
the model, nora, who seems to be in an endless loop of financially sponsoring her housemates;
the actress, cassie, who insists she is not a porn star (despite that one clip that michael has
seen more times than he would care to admit); the artist, harper, who seems to be better
at keeping a girl happy than anybody else in both houses combined; and rowan, the
writer who seems to spend more time napping than she does actually writing.
a (probably more complex than necessary) story about social media exploits, too many pizza
deliveries, 3am nerf gun wars and a lot of ridiculously overcomplicated relationships.
Anything else: remember when i swore to myself that i was going to absolutely finish my challenge oneshots before i started anything else??? yeah those were the days... (also known as the fic i write when i'm supposed to be writing other fics my bad) |

Life could’ve been perfect, but when she went to her three-month health check up, she ended up with more than she bargained for.
Anne Claire Matthews wanted nothing more to be successful and independent, because her mother was the exact opposite. Unfortunately life planned things differently. She had nine month to figure out just who the father might be, or she would be just like her mother. A single mum.
A crazy story about artificial insemination, rockstars and why abstinence only doesn’t work at all.
Anything else: Pls stop me.

Emily sounded too grown-up though, so the seven year old ignored her mother's wishes.
The girl also knew that everyone had a dad, but her.
She knew a lot about biology, for a seven year old girl, there must've been a dad at some point, but he was nowhere to be found.
Emmy also loved books and in one of her favourite books, the characters go chasing for someone.
So she decided to go on a chase to - to find her father.
Little did she know, that her favourite band would not only give her a soundtrack, they would also disorganise her whole life.
But how was she supposed to know, that she had a crush on her dad's best mate to begin with.
A story about well and not so well kept secrets, about teenage love and the aftermath and about the chase for a family.
Anything else: Someone pls shoot me if I start posting these two stories before 2015.

Considering the fact of how utterly normal Alexa Valance was,
the feelings that he harbored for her
scared the everliving shit out of Michael Clifford.
She was the exact opposite of him
in just about every possible way.
He was in a famous band that was practically dominating the world.
She was a courtesy clerk at a Kroger in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
His future was undetermined,
all depending on how well his band's music career turns out.
Her future was set, with an acceptance letter from OSU Main Campus under her belt
and a plan to pursue a career in education all mapped out.
Oh yes, Alexa Valance scared Michael Clifford.
But it was the kind of scared that you'll find
in people who like horror movies.
It wasn't a fearful scared -
it was a curious scared.
The problem? Michael seems to have forgotten that curiosity killed the cat.
Anything else: I'M SO MAD AT MYSELF ABOUT THIS ONE AND I REFUSE TO WRITE IT UNLESS I KNOW PEOPLE ARE GOING TO READ IT.

Midnight Munchies
Willa May Burke wasn't a fan of sleeping at night. She preferred staying up and testing new recipes on customers who stumbled in the door at midnight. That was the beauty of an all night cafe, the drunken customers always gave an honest answer.
Calum Thomas Hood wasn't a fan of getting out of bed before noon. But lately he couldn't seem to fall asleep before two AM. But when a restless night and smell of cinnamon leads him to a glowing bakery with a girl whose brightness is nothing in comparison to the lights outside her shop, being awake at 2 AM doesn't seem so bad anymore.
A story of late night coffee, fumbling in the dark and finding love in the most unexpected places |

of color and catastrophe
Love, to most people, is a word associated with reds and pinks and a day overwhelmed by giant hearts and candy galore.
Love, to Luke, sounds like a strange but not altogether unpleasant orange-speckled lilac that reminds him of a night that bloomed into mustard yellow and a certain ginger-haired girl with a sea green name.
Synesthesia does that a lot; it jumbles up senses and smears messy colors in his eyes and buzzing sounds in his ears until he's dizzied and confused, but with Melody Scott's help, Luke might learn to embrace both his condition and his newfound affection toward her: if he can only let go of the secrets he's been clutching to his chest for so long.
In which two kids find color in a black and white town.
anything else: so if you've read anything i've written, you probably know i either try too hard to be funny (in my deleted fics) or ramble too much and lose the plot (in my one-shots), so here's hoping i found my niche with this one. i find synesthesia fascinating, and i don't think anyone on 5sosff has written of it yet? that, and american high school au's do things to my heart. this idea is three years in the making, so please tell me if you like it omg i hope someone does |
