Writer's Block

Not once, in her whole nineteen years of life, has Octavia Bethers had a passion for anything other than writing. Whether it’s a short story, a full plot, or the occasional piece of poetry, she's always had small tasks on the side to fulfil her creative needs. But much like those who write, they would agree that falling into a pit of writer’s block is never a pleasant time. With countless crumpled pieces of paper and numerous headaches, it’s safe to say that Octavia’s quite stuck and doesn’t know how to get out of this mindset.

However, when Ashton Irwin gets thrown into the picture, there’s a chance that things can change for Octavia - even if it means taking inspiration from the life of someone she hasn’t left the greatest impression on.

Anything else: i know ive posted in here before and that idea totally fell through, but this is 100% happening and hopefully will be posted soon(ish)

Light Of My Life

Rory Ford is a strong person. Everyone knew that.
But after uncovering the not-so-secret affair her boyfriend has been apart of for the past seven months,
Rory's life turns upside down.
Her only comfort now is alcohol and her boys, the only friends she's had since age 8. 
But as things seem to be getting worse, so does Rory, and now Luke wants to play the hero and save her;
the only girl he's ever cared about.


Anything else: So it's vague and pretty crappy but I tried my best haha, I will be posting this ASAP too

Maori for beginners - or how step brothers always ruin your life!


Emma had, in many ways, the perfect life; she had great friends, an active social life, and her mother was so busy with her new boyfriend that she was barely around. Unfortunately, however, things had to change…

​She had to move to Manchester from Liverpool, go to a new college, leave her friends behind, and her new home was invaded by none other than her step-brother.
​
​Calum Hood was the worst boy she ever met and it seemed ​​​​​​​​as though he made it his personal mission to make her new life a living hell. Alongside him came three more boys and as if things couldn’t get more complicated, the bandana enthused and oldest one out of the four spiked her interest.
​
​Was it a good idea to crush on her new step-brother’s best mate? Probably not, but if Calum was going to be annoying then so was Emma.


Anything else: The story will be light-hearted, the main relationship is filled with love/hate and there will be drama.

And here we go, my second story idea - far heavier than the first story.

Brontide - how valuable is a human life?

The year 2008 had changed the world, war and recessions led to radical changes in the world order.

A group of fanatic Nietzsche supporters infiltrated the government of the UK and managed to change the laws, according to the doctrines of the late philosopher and their latest coup would attack humanity.

The cleansing, a week long festival that was supposed to take place every July, should be the answer for unemployment and crimes - during this week all rules were out of order. No crime would be persecuted.

Four friends are supposed to join the cleansing, they all have their reasons to do the unthinkable, but no matter what the government said, nothing is just black and white.

A young girl and her even younger sister will make them question everything they’ve learned for the last six years. Can it be right to kill people, just because the government tells you so…

Anything else: Luke and his friends are all supposed to kill the people that do not support society, but rely on it (ill, homeless, without a job etc.) during the cleansing, like the rest of the country. They all grew up together, attending the same elite boarding school, where they were fed the lies of the government, how the weaker ones have to die, to make space for the strong generations.

Luke is eighteen and can no longer shy away from his responsibilities, his own father is one of the strongest supporters of the cause and he is the youngest son, who has yet to make his family proud.


Calum never wanted to take place in any of this, but someone rat his family out, claiming that they were against the cleansing - now its on him to do the unthinkable, to save his family.


Ashton is the oldest one, he remembers the past well and while he wanted change, this was never what he bargained for. His goal is to survive and not to harm anyone.

Michael is the wild one, he doesn't care much about other people, apart from his friends. He is the one who always wondered, what it would feel like, to kill someone...

Two young girls, 16 and 11, are running through the cold night, they just witnessed the murder of their parents and their older brother. The cleansing has begun and they are the newest target.

Both paths cross and humanity has to be rewritten.

Lydia Parker was in a situation that a lot of girls would love to be.

The slightly dysfunctional flirtationship she'd managed to develop with Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood had been going on for quite a few weeks and so far, neither of them seemed to have a problem with it. It was all in good fun, after all.

That is, until, they give her an ultimatum.

They both have feelings for her and they can't carry on the way they are.

They'd both done a fantastic job at hiding these so-called feelings, and an even better job at acting like it wasn't effecting their friendship. But it was – a simple phone call to Ashton was enough to confirm that.

Lydia felt sick, but she had no other option. She was going to have to choose between the two boys who meant the most to her in the whole world.
And she had no idea what her decision was going to be.

Zoe Muller and her best friend Olivia Hemmings always had big plans: They'll tour the world as ballerinas and live in a swanky apartment with their fabulous boyfriends.

Those plans go out the window when they're cut from their ballet company. Zoe can't imagine anything worse happening, but life's about to prover her wrong. Soon not being able to dance is the least of her problems. 

Enter Calum Hood: the best friend of Olivia's brother Luke, who Zoe can't stand, and has a habit of being around all the time

The last thing that keeps Zoe moving forward in life is knowing that she has Olivia, but when even that seems to be taken from her as well, Zoe keeps praying things will go back to the way they were before.

They have to. The alternative is too terrifying for Zoe to even imagine.
