The Only Reason

They were suppose to be together forever. Or, so that was the plan. But, that was all before Michael made the biggest mistake of his life and it ended up costing him the most precious thing he had ever really cared for.

Now, six months later, with University back for the fall season, he’s determined to do anything and everything that he can to win her back. With a little help along the way, Michael is more the hopeful that he can make things better between the two of them so they can start over.

a uni au full of heartbreaking truths, a LOT of apologizing, meddling friends with good intentions, reminiscing on the past, and trying to forgive what seems like the unforgivable.

Anything else:i know what you're going to say...i have a problem...but u know what? idec bc this idea has been such a big one in my life and it's finally ready to post and its such a blast from the past and i've missed writing about the loml (aka that cute lil kitten in the banner aka mikey) and my little cupcake brice so yeah!!!!! i hope you guys like this??? also, what do u guys think about my banner? ive been really trying to get better at making them and so far this one is my favorite!!!

lorraine allen is a fixer of all things: trinkets, engines, recipes, and people.

a story about a boy running like hell from his problems and a girl who won’t admit that she has any troubles at all.

anything else: hiii so i had this posted like... a year ago or so and took it down because i wanted to rework it a bit. so i've done that.. over the last year or so... and now it's back! a little different, written from a different place in me and with a better understanding of the characters. (along with a new summary woo) it's a little more mature and that.
being said, it's still a story about children and dogs, really annoying best friends and all that gross but #same stuff that made me love writing it in the first place and i'm sooo excited to share it with you guys again in the new year. yay!

It was your typical 'boy meets girl' scenario.

Except the girl is the daughter of a pot farmer,
is sleeping with the sheriff's son,
and is about to become a part of a major drug war.

And the boy has a paranoid mother who owns the new hotel,
has an absent father that he's not willing to meet,
and a habit of ending up at the wrong place at the wrong time.

And the wrong place just so happens to be the scene of a murder.
His best friend's murder.

An AU where Michael can't catch a break, Calum somehow got shot, 
Ashton can't seem to find his way home, and Luke is unbelievably naive.

Summertime Sadness

The summer before university was supposed to be the time of our lives but mine, mine was looking like a disaster. All I wanted to do was collect specimens and explore the California coast but instead I ended up stuck in a maelstrom of other peoples problems.


Luke likes Lily but is too shy to do anything about it which is a good things because
Lily is in secretly hooking up with Calum.
But Calum has his eyes set on something real and has decided it was me (despite my intense hatred towards him).
Luke is going after Kirsten because he doesn't have a chance with Lily
But Kirsten's brother Michael hates Luke and will do anything to break them up.
Michael is in love with my best friend Nikki but she's dating my ex.
Who has suddenly decided that he wants me back.

But Luke would never let that happen.

When two very nerdy and antisocial roommates meet their new neighbour,
a quirky and outgoing actress who encourages them to explore the real world and real relationships,
an unlikely romance is born, as well as unwanted encounters with neglectful parents,
cross country trips to find runaway friends, childish bets over comic books, arguments that lead into lightsaber battles,
and way too many references to Batman that would drive any sane person crazy.

A 'Big Bang Theory' inspired AU where Michael is (hopefully) getting the girl, Ashton is getting used to the idea of commitment,
Calum is getting over his fear of women, and Luke is just getting on everybody's nerves.

However, when the group of 6 agents come across a copy-cat killer
that mirrors the famous 'Queensland ripper' back in 2002, they are forced to
bring in the ripper's estranged daughter JJ in order to help identify
the killer's patterns and take him down before more people go missing.

A crime AU where Michael is the humerous muscle man, Luke is the oblivious brainiac,
Calum is the sarcastic hacker, and Ashton is the serious yet caring leader.

Anything else?: So I don't know which boy to have as the main one, Luke or Michael, so if you guys are able to share your opinions please do!

Rainy Days

What does it take for one to fall in love?

Some would say not much, just a couple heart-warming moments together and that’s it. Others defend that it’s the time together, the story that was built, the memories inked in both their minds. A good cup of hot chocolate, marshmallows and a cosy blanket. A smile in the morning. An old black and white movie. A puppy, maybe?

The answer to that question is an infinite sea of opinions and experiences. Maybe that’s because there is no way to fall in love. It happens when it has to happen and that’s it.

Unless...

Well, unless you are Sam “I-don’t-need-more-assholes” Collins.

Sam does NOT believe in love. And this is the story that will tell us why she doesn’t believe in that kind of magic. Or maybe it is the exact opposite… (That’s for me to know and you to find out)

Pacify Her
Theodora Tanner has never openly chased after a guy.
She see's no point in it, so instead she lets the guys come to her. 
And they always do. But somehow, the only exception was the hot guy from
music class who managed to spark her interest the minute he
opened his mouth.

It's just a shame that he has a girlfriend who doesn't
have stage fright, Thea's best friend has the hots for her, and she just
got entered into a singing contest by her so called 'friends',
where she'll be competing against her new love interest for $2000.

This is why Theodora Tanner has never openly chased after guys.

AU in which Michael thinks he knows the solution to every problem, Ashton can't think straight,
Luke is just constantly revising and Calum is a little bit dumbfounded.

Anything else?: WARNING - will feature an excessive amount of singing and sexual tension.

I've always tried to be positive, but that was of course before my mother sent me to bible camp.
That was before I lost my best friend to a few advocates inspiring to be the pope.
That was before I learned that the curfew was nine o'clock.
That was before I lost all internet access. 
So excuse me if I am not all that optimistic.

Anything else?: Okay I recently got back into writing and thought this was fun. This is by no means meant to offend anyone, I have never been to bible camp, and wish not to spit on your religion or anything.
