It starts off with five people. You have Luke Hemmings, the Sheriff’s son who gets discounted drugs and sexual services, Michael Clifford, the mechanic who sneaks around with a mobster’s daughter, Ashton Irwin, the boxer with a bit of an anger and drug problem, Calum Hood, the boy who goes great lengths to provide for his family, and Touey Marr, the girl who used to sell herself for money.
Five friends and they were in it till the end. Through blood and guts, they were together. That is, until one runs away under unknown circumstances and the course of life parts the other four.
Five people, six years, and too many secrets.
After those six years, Calum’s found hanging from a tree in the park off of Baker’s Street. The friend with all the secrets. The one everyone trusted with everything. He died, and he took everyone’s secrets with him.
Or so they thought.
That’s where Olivia Chance comes in. The one who was Calum’s friend after high school when everyone left him. The sweet innocent girl he trusted to talk to when his other friends called with their shitty problems. Olivia heard all the nasty, immoral things they did. And now they’re back in Lovelock, Nevada. And she’s certain they’re responsible for his unlawful death.
A story of what happens when you go back to the town where secrets lie, and old habits rest. When you reopen healing wounds. When you find out those secrets that make the puzzle fit together. Why people do what they do. How to survive. Letting all the bad blood go.

Babylon, North Carolina looks perfect from the outside. A picturesque small town where one could go to clear their mind and have the most delicious homemade apple pie around while seated on the beach, washing all their troubles away.
Michael Clifford, however, knew too well what kind of secrets the town held. As the son of the local police chief, he grew up being told the stories that somehow were never released as public knowledge. He knew all the truths that had never seen the light of day. All of the stories except the one that he truly wanted to know — the truth behind the ‘great accident’ that took several lives, his father’s included.
Just when he was sure that he had gotten out of the town and away from the secrets indefinitely, living a good, quiet life in upstate New York with his mother and younger sister, he finds himself buying a one-way ticket back to his hometown to escape the consequences of one too many mistakes. Babylon might not have been as perfect as the townspeople would have liked the rest of the world to think, but it was still a safe place to hide.
Taking refuge in a friend’s basement, Michael was determined to turn things around for himself. But being back in Babylon came with its own set of consequences: the need to find out the truth behind his father’s death becomes more prominent than ever, having to pay his own bills by working for his former neighbor’s jerk of a son, fending off questions from nosy townspeople, the unbearable heat that he’d all but forgotten about, and somehow catching the attention of the Mayor’s much too intelligent daughter, Johanna Goode, for something as stupid as knocking over a couple of items in the grocery store. Michael is almost convinced that he’d be better off facing the consequences of his actions back in New York.
None of those things seem to matter as soon as he comes across the darkest secret the town has to hold, consequently putting both himself and Johanna in harm’s way as witnesses to cold-blooded murder. The only thing keeping them alive is the knowledge that if they show that they know anything at all, their lives could be on the line.
And well, Michael had never been a very good actor.

There are always two sides to every story. The one that did happen, and the one that could have happened.
Every decision you make creates a parallel outcome, an ending you'll never see. And the sad thing is you never really think about it that much; what could have happened, because you're to hung up on what did.
But what if you could see what could have been, what if you could live both endings. See the unseen and live it out as if that was the choice you decided to make. What if the one thing that could have changed your life, suddenly became your life.
What if.

If there was one thing Calum Hood loved more than music, it was dogs. And, now that his music career was on hold (indefinitely - thanks, Luke), it was the perfect time to get one.
Or it would be, if his live-in girlfriend wasn’t allergic and refused to be anywhere near one. Calum had (begrudgingly) accepted his fate and had given up hope of ever finding a dog to call his own.
That is, until a slightly neurotic Great Dane comes – literally – crashing into his life and brings his unwitting owner along for the ride.

(c) chloe beanne Lorraine Allen loved to fix what was broken. Whether it was fiddling with things under the hood of a car with her father or holding two pieces of porcelain between her fingers for her younger sister, it didn’t matter. She loved to be the ‘Fix It’ girl. She enjoyed being wanted and loved being needed, it made her feel useful and gave her a sense of worth. She loved to help others fix what they were unwilling or unable to fix themselves. But not even she was entirely sure Calum Hood could be fixed. Trying seemed futile, and for the first time in her life she was faced with what seemed to be the unfix-able: a broken heart. That’s not to say she wasn’t willing to give it a shot, though. In return, he unknowingly opened a box of emotion inside of her that she had long buried away, turning everything she believed inside out until she wasn’t really sure of anything at all.
The only thing she knew for sure was that he was worth it.
A story about running away, moving forward, appreciating what has been lost, and finding beauty in the strangest places.

Lucy had learned the hard way that a single action could change the rest of your life. She had to grow up fast - too fast - and her youth was spent playing mum with her younger brother. As if things couldn't get more difficult, a reckless one-night stand altered everything around her. Life isn't easy when you're in a new city, work at a shitty job, have a younger brother who's obsessed with football, and a toddler who looks more like her Dad with each passing day. She thought she was managing well given the circumstances, but facing her daughter's father after two years was something she never expected and didn't know how to handle. Especially when he was not only a famous football player and her brother's idol, but was now also his mentor. The Offside rule applies to more than just football.

Michael Clifford and Shelby Moore have been through a lot together. From nearly getting hit by a speeding car at five years old to holding together a long distance friendship at twenty, they had been there for one another through the good, the bad, the ugly, and all the little things in between.
So when the guys of 5 Seconds of Summer decided to take a six month break from not only their music, but from one another, of course the first person Michael turned to was his lifelong friend. And, Shelby was more than happy to have Michael stay with her in Chicago while she finished her studies at the University.
The pair soon find out that long distance phone calls and scattered texts might just be the way their relationship is meant to be, especially when certain feelings that are much easier to hide at a distance start to rear their ugly heads. But hey, they’ve been through worse, so what is a confession or two going to change?
Unfortunately, the answer could be everything. beautiful banner made by lennon.

Paradise Lost
Luke Hemmings has always hated books. With his trusty phone permanently attached to his fingertips and free wifi on every street corner, why shouldn’t he?
Disgruntled Amora Hartley begs to disagree, and when conned to help a not-so-punk-rock boybander pass his English exams, she thinks she can show him just what type of paradise they can create in his mind.
But when a book literally swallows them alive, well, she’s not so sure she’s a fan anymore.
“The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.”

Calum Hood’s got a lot on his plate and the china’s about to crack (and, no, this is not the appropriate time for Asian jokes, damn it!).
His daily to-do list grows longer and longer every waking moment and the ringing echoes of his name calling him to attention have got him paranoid at all hours.
Life is shattering to pieces in his palms and Calum can’t even feel the pain or see the blood because he’s too damn distracted.
Or where Cal thinks he’s a super hero, but maybe he’s the one who needs saving.
