No need to PM an admin to get a challenge approved as yet as the site is still small. Please just keep it tidy and once the challenge is over and the winner/s have been announced that you PM me so I can lock the thread.
When you post your challenge, please use the following form:
Requirements: Just briefly state what you need - is it a oneshot, a songfic, a multi-chapter, a poem?
Mechanics: state the joining process here, and how the challenge will essentially go about (whether they can choose their boy or whether you will PM them what boy to use, what sort of theme they should use etc).
Rules: ALWAYS make sure you put NO PLAGIARISM. Other than that, make your rules so that they don't exceed time limits, or give them clear guidelines as to what they can/cannot do.
Length: Typically 2-3 weeks. Make sure it doesn't exceed 4 weeks. If it does, make sure that your challenge won't get lost in the barrel and find its way accidentally into inactive challenges. Give a CLEAR date, not "in about 2 weeks". Give a timezone too, because sometimes if you say 12AM, it's 12AM for you, but still 12PM of the day before somewhere else.
Submission: PM anonymously, or have them post it here? Up to you.
You are responsible for your own challenge. Make sure that, as a host, there are little to no complications. I suggest keeping a list of some sort, so that you don't lose track.
Make sure that you post it in the format of the form provided above. Should you wish to add additional information, do so, but try to make sure everyone can understand what's going on.
Also, in the title of your thread, your format should look like this:
TITLE OF CHALLENGE [DEADLINE] [STATUS (spots, if you wish it)]
So, if I put it up, it'll look like this:
The One Direction Challenge [02/14] [OPEN (14/20)]
then, if everyone's submitted/the deadline has arrived:
The One Direction Challenge [02/14] [CLOSED]
then, when your results are up:
The One Direction Challenge [02/14] [RESULTS]
and when everyone has seen it and you've sent out your prizes
The One Direction Challenge, [02/14] [ARCHIVE]
Please ensure that you follow through with this. it helps keep this place more organized.
