Here Comes The Sun by dulcets
After a particularly harrowing incident involving swing sets and hair loss,
nine year old Ellie Hemmings decided her new next door neighbor,
Ashton Irwin, was the devil reincarnate.
Not much has changed in the past eight years – except that, now,
Ellie’s younger brother’s band is sort of in need of a drummer.

Blindsided by gropingmichael
Blindsided: catch (someone) unprepared;
Shiloh Stevens hates a lot of things. For example; when people slurp their soup, or when paper back books have crinkles along the spine, or when her jeans get stuck under her shoes, but she especially has a strong dislike (hate) for boys.
Sure, they were fine things to look at, but they made her brain hurt with their complicated ways and their constant mood changes and she'd rather just ignore them.
Of course, no one warned her about that damn dimpled drummer that she'd have to deal with during One Direction's US & Aus leg of their Take Me Home Tour.
Or the one with a girl with her feet firm on the ground and a boy with the determination to make her move.

Loxley Hot Sox by courtney
There is nothing Loxley Hemmings hates more than when her twin brother Luke is away touring (Except for maybe studying for her final exams).
He seems to have his whole life sorted while she’s preparing to start a course at university that she has no intention of finishing.
Then there’s Calum, her best friend, who isn’t content with being ‘just friends’ anymore.
Whilst the boys tour the world and record in London, Loxley feels as though she’s drawn the short straw. So, when she’s given the offer to escape her life at home and join them on their global adventure, she isn’t about to turn it down.
How is it even possible that living with 5 Seconds of Summer is more trouble than the life she left behind?

A Silent Film by yme1399
banner by karissa
They gave her one year. One year to figure out what she wanted.
Months of negotiating with her parents leads Lawrence to head out to Sydney to live with her aunt and sort herself out. After a near death experience, she meets a boy with a less-than-punk-rock quiff and a fickle fickle heart, and she can't seem to get him out of her mind. He's ecstatic to have her in his life, and as long as he can remember to keep his mouth shut and his eyes closed when she's talking, then so is she.
A story about friendships, silent films, and unnecessary muting.

Babylon by hufflspuff
Babylon, North Carolina looks perfect from the outside. A picturesque small town where one could go to clear their mind and have the most delicious homemade apple pie around while seated on the beach, washing all their troubles away.
Michael Clifford, however, knew too well what kind of secrets the town held. As the son of the local police chief, he grew up being told the stories that somehow were never released as public knowledge. He knew all the truths that had never seen the light of day. All of the stories except the one that he truly wanted to know — the truth behind the ‘great accident’ that took several lives, his father’s included.
Just when he was sure that he had gotten out of the town and away from the secrets indefinitely, living a good, quiet life in upstate New York with his mother and younger sister, he finds himself buying a one-way ticket back to his hometown to escape the consequences of one too many mistakes. Babylon might not have been as perfect as the townspeople would have liked the rest of the world to think, but it was still a safe place to hide.
Taking refuge in a friend’s basement, Michael was determined to turn things around for himself. But being back in Babylon came with its own set of consequences: the need to find out the truth behind his father’s death becomes more prominent than ever, having to pay his own bills by working for his former neighbor’s jerk of a son, fending off questions from nosy townspeople, the unbearable heat that he’d all but forgotten about, and somehow catching the attention of the Mayor’s much too intelligent daughter, Johanna Goode, for something as stupid as knocking over a couple of items in the grocery store. Michael is almost convinced that he’d be better off facing the consequences of his actions back in New York.
None of those things seem to matter as soon as he comes across the darkest secret the town has to hold, consequently putting both himself and Johanna in harm’s way as witnesses to cold-blooded murder. The only thing keeping them alive is the knowledge that if they show that they know anything at all, their lives could be on the line.
And well, Michael had never been a very good actor.
