Fanfiction awards tumblrs

Hii okay so I was thinking about the awards people do on the site (Out of the Box, underground5sos, etc). but I'm confused as to why nominees aren't notified? I feel like if you are nominated and not on the boards you would have no way of knowing. So why can't these people contact you that you've been nominated? They obviously have your username if you've been nominated and it isn't that hard to click the contact button or leave a review on the nominated story.. 

Feel like this shouldn't go under this thread oops sorry but this is where they talk about awards 

Also does anyone have the link to the Serious Winter Awards? I've seen a few people with the badges for nominee so far but can't find anything about it.

I think many of them aren't organized as much in the sense that it's only one or maybe just a handful of people running it. I'm sure there's a lot of work involved in it, so maybe they just think that their nominees are already following? I don't know, I do agree though. I found out through one of my friends that I was nominated, otherwise I probably wouldn't have known!

Thank you It would be nice to be know in case you aren't following like me obviously. I wish I would've known I was nominated before voting ended and that they would've posted the nominees before today, twelve days after voting ended. Oh well, it is what it is though.
