Obviously we’re all here because we enjoy 5SOS, or at least enjoy reading about them, so why not take some of their own words and turn them into something… lovely. (;

THE 5SOS LOVELY LYRICS CHALLENGE
due February 1st, 2016 at 12 am EST
RULES:
1. NO PLAGIARISM!!! This is self-explanatory. Any signs of plagiarism will be met with IMMEDIATE disqualification from this challenge. (And likely all other challenges) Do not steal other people’s work, guys. Don’t do it. Ever.
2. If a one-shot or song fic, must be at least 2,500+ words, if a mini fic (2-5 chapters), each chapter must be at least 1,500+ words
3. Leave a comment below with your number and drink of choice, and I will PM you with your results.
4. You may change your boy/song and lyric once and once only.
5. If you cannot complete this challenge, please let me know so I can reopen your spot. On the same note, if you need an extension (which you shouldn‘t, it‘s like five months), please feel free to message me and let me know a date, preferably no longer than 2-3 weeks after the deadline posted, when you believe you will be able to complete your challenge. This is simply courtesy toward me and everyone else entering the challenge.
6. You can base your story on the song itself or on the specific lyric given, but please try to incorporate the lyric itself somewhere in the story as a quote, a thought, a description, whatever. Surprise me.
7. Please put The 5SOS Lovely Lyrics Challenge somewhere in your summary and message me with a link to your entry once you have posted!
8. This is not technically a rule, but since I am using this as an official part of the 5SOSFF INITIATIVE/READERS CHALLENGE, please try to read and leave a review for as many people who enter this challenge as possible, to spread some love, encouragement, and positivity!
WINNINGS:
EVERYONE who enters will get a review from me on their entry and will receive a lovely banner of participation.
THERE WILL BE A FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, AND HONORABLE MENTION PRIZES, which will be given to those who I believe have gone above and beyond with the writing of their challenge, and these people will receive up to ten reviews on any and all fics of their choice, as well as being added to my favorite authors and stories.
That being said, NO ONE WILL BE OUT AN AWARD. Everyone will receive a special reward, be it a MOST CREATIVE or a FUNNIEST STORY award. Everyone who enters and submits their entries will walk away with something. Because you’re all wonderful and deserving.
